DESCRIPTION:
This collection documents the reign of King [NAME REDACTED] III of [REDACTED] during
the Hundred Years' War. The manuscripts were originally housed at
[LOCATION REDACTED] before being transferred to the Tower of [LOCATION REDACTED] in

HISTORICAL CONTEXT:

against King Philip VI of [LOCATION REDACTED]. The English longbowmen, numbering
approximately 7,000 soldiers, devastated the French cavalry near the
